Staying hydrated means you have enough water in your body to keep your body organs fine and perform properly. A human body needs more water in warm conditions. As the summer is being start so we’ll need more water to stay active and healthy in the hot climate areas. Here are some easy tips to keep yourself hydrated and enjoy the summer as much as possible.
1. Drink more water
We need also to drink the more water during summer season. We should start our day and going to bed by having a glass of water. According to U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, men should drink about 3.7 liters (15.5 cups) and women 2.7 liters (11.5 cups) on daily basis.
2. Check your Urine
Check your Urine color if you want to know if you’re hydrated or not. If your urine color is dark yellow then you are in desperate need of water but if it’s a lighter or pale color like straw then you’re doing well.
3. Eat High Content Foods
Always eat high water content fruits & vegetables. Did you know, 20% of water intake our body gets from the fruits & vegetables or salads? Watermelon, strawberries, cucumbers, spinach, broccoli are examples of the high content water foods with almost the more than 90% water.
4. Make a Time-Table
Make a stay hydrated timetable and follow it regularly or you can use different mobile apps with hourly reminders to drink water daily. In this way, you’ll be able to know how much water you’re drinking daily and how much more do you need.
5. Try different Flavors
Try different flavors if you’re not a water drinker. So also add few ingredients like lemons, lime, mint, oranges, saffron or berries. In this way you’ll enjoy different flavors and being hydrated both.
